REVIEW | Lessons in Sin by Pam Godwin
Title: Lessons in Sin
Author: Pam Godwin
Publication Date: June 29, 2021
Rating: ★★
There’s no absolution for the things I’ve done.
But I found a way to control my impulses.
I became a priest.
As Father Magnus Falke, I suppress my cravings. As the headteacher of a Catholic boarding school, I’m never tempted by a student.
Until Tinsley Constantine.
The bratty princess challenges my rules and awakens my dark nature. With each punishment I lash upon her, I want more. In my classroom, private rectory, and bent over my altar, I want all of her.
One touch risks everything I stand for. My faith. My redemption. And even my life.
As if that could stop me. I need her pain, and her heart, and she needs my lessons in sin.

My Thoughts...
ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest review
Starting this book, I had high expectations because their were so many raving reviews about it.
It started off really well, and I enjoyed the banter between Magnus and Tinsley.
Tinsley was a strong willed character, which i appreciated. However sometimes her choices and actions were not to my liking. I will admit that she did annoy me a lot in certain aspects and parts of the book and to the point where I did stop reading for long periods of time.
Magnus was an interesting character, yet some of his decisions honestly weirded me out a little. I love reading dark books about dark characters, but for some reason, this one did not really sit well with me.

I am a little disappointed in this book. I think I might have had the misconception that Tinsley was actually a spoilt princess that then learns compassion and all that through Magnus.
