thank u, next ... Book Tag

On BookTube, there was a tag created by 'thisstoryaintover' based on the song lyrics of Ariana Grande's most recent song, thank u, next. I really like that song, and the questions seemed really fun, so I thought i'd go ahead and do my first tag - even though I wasn't tagged- on my blog!

Let me know your answers to these question on the comment section, i'd really like to hear your pick to these question!

1. Name a book that you said "thank u, next" to, i.e. DNF'd (did not finish).

25912358'A Thousand Boy Kisses' By Tillie Cole

Everyone on Goodreads and some on BookTube were raving about this book, about how good it was, so I went in expecting to really like this book, however, the opposite happened. I didn't really like it, I thought it was pretty boring and slow moving. This book did nothing to me. I stopped reading about 30% in I want to say.

2. You can answer the next three questions together OR separately with completely different books:

3. Name a book that taught you love (i.e. a book you loved)

30372977'Full Tilt' By Emma Scott

This book is one of my all time favourite. It is so heartbreakingly beautiful, and yes it did teach me love but also pain and patience. Basically, this whole duology taught me those things, it was absolutely beautiful.

4. Name a book that taught you patience.

34330946'Stygian' by Sherrilyn Kenyon

This book taught me patience in a sense where I had to be patient for the main character aka my baby, to finally find happiness after all he's been through. Not only this books but this whole series (which is very long) in which the main character, Urian, was alone and feeling lonely, at least now we see him finally happy.

5. Name a book that taught you pain.

'Styxx' By Sherrilyn Kenyon

Oh yes, another Sherrilyn Kenyon book, and this beast of a book was the most heart wrenching, heart breaking book I have ever read. I can't even explain how much pain this book actually bestowed on me... it was too much!

6. Name a book that you loved at the time of reading but in hindsight you do not like as much anymore but which you still learned some other quality from.

27872890'Moonshot' By Alessandra Torre

I really liked this book whilst reading it, however once I finished it and thought about it a little more, there were some aspects of the book that made me not like it as much, and I guess with this book I was a little caught up with the hype and that made me like it more than I did. There really isn't a quality I think of right now that I did like, but one thing I remember liking was the sports aspect of this book and how Alessandra Torre incorporated it into her story.

7. Name a book you're currently talking to, i.e. have the hots for.

41091619'Tick Tock' By Jane Harvey-Berrick

This book took me by surprise, it was so amazing and I cannot stop thinking about it or stop recommending it to my friends!

8. Name the book that gon' last - the book of you - the book that helped you love yourself a little bit more.

13519397'Throne of Glass' By Sarah J. Maas

This book will definitely last! It's not just this book but the whole series that taught me to love myself a little more, through the very strong female characters. I loved the portrayal of having strong women in this series and that literally no man needed to hold their hands. This series will forever be my favourite ♥

9. Tag someone do to the tag!

Anyone who would like to do the tag then I tag you...
